History: Elise and her brother were twins born on February 1st to Derek and Jolise Berk. Jolise stayed home cooking andcleaning the house and Derek worked in the district's industry. One night, when Jolise was walking out around the disrict she was corned on a side street given a box of morphling pills for safe keeping and in a moment of confusion swallowed one. After she felt a wave of calmness wash over her, she pocketed more and took them home she then shared them with her husband and as the weeks wore one they became addicted. Elise and Julian noticed something was wrong and told their grandmother whom they had always trusted more than their parents. Anna then interrigated her daughter and son in law an found out that they were addicted to Morphling. Anna ended up with her grandchildren living with her as the peacekeepers deemed Jolise and Derek as unfit parents. Elise and Julian lived happily with their Grandmother. They were both very popular at school and were also doing well in school. Then, at the twins first reaping, Julian was picked and everything changed. Julian was killed in the intial bloodbath at the Cornucopia and Elise grew away from every-one she knew, apart from her Grandmother. While at school, Elise would act like nothing was wrong. Inside, however, she felt like apart of her had died with Julian. Elise only found solace in the the meadow outside the district where she and Julian had been so many times.
