History[]
Growing up with a Wealthy engineer father, beautiful star of a mother, and three older brothers, Gemma fit in very nicely. She was well educated and held an honors roll in grade school. Ever since she was a little girl, she always watched the opening ceremonies with such glee that one day, she could design outfits for her district, so all the world would see. Secretly, her parents kept her from the killing and destruction going on in the games, for fear of how she would cope with all of it. So she grew up living in her ‘fashion fantasy world’ due to the fact her parents were quite wealthy. Gem took art and fashion classes since the age of 9, with her teachers all begging to have her in their class. At high school, Gem was the best dressed, which seemed to please her district. When she turned 21, she made it her ambition to become her district’s stylist, and spent those next years perfecting her work. Now, being exposed to all the sadness going around in the world, Gem hopes to make a difference with her outfits and her elegant manner.
Personality[]
Gem is very quite but sometimes will speak her mind if the situation demands it. Her manner is full etiquette. She is not spoiled or snobby, but likes to be treated as a high-class stylist. Gem is very critical when it comes to clothing, for it one piece of fabric is wrong, she will ask for all of it to be re-sewn. During the games, she will try to adapt a connection to the tributes she is dressing, but not so much as when if they are to die, she will not be completely and utterly saddened. Sometimes it is hard for Gem to not mix her friendly feelings for the tributes with her work.
Appearance[]
Gem likes all the colors, but prefers to have dyed white hair most of the time. She can also been seen with pink, aqua marine, and lime green hair. Her skin is olive white, and her eyes are naturally brown, but sometimes with daring eye contacts. Despite having different hair colors, Gem always keeps her eye-brows brown. She mostly wears white (to match her hair) or a color pattern. Depending on what the tributes wear during the games is somewhat how Gem decides to wear her clothing.
