Kalysta Sareph
Stylist of the President
(This Character Belongs to Shooting Starz)
History
Kalysta Sareph was born to a Gamemaker mother and a Peacekeeper father. Her father was often deployed in District 8, and wasn't much involved in Kalysta's upbringing. However, Kalysta's mother, Zindree, has been involved in planning 14 Hunger Games and counting. Before her mother became a Gamemaker, she owned a clothing shop in the Capitol - "Frills and Fun - Supplying all of your Self-Expressing Clothing Needs"- and Kalysta took up fashion design at an early age.
When Zindree became a Gamemaker,Kalysta had to take up the family business and was quite good at it. She had a certain skill for making suits with Capitol flair. She was lucky one day when the President's stylist, nearing retirement, visited the shop for inspiration. Instead, she found Kalysta, nearing the age where she could become a stylist's assistant and apprentice. The stylist offered Kalysta the role, which she eagerly accepted. Ten years later, the stylist retired and Kalysta took over as the Presidential stylist.
Personality
Kalysta is quiet but calculating and intelligent. She feels no sympathy for the Districts and is a huge Hunger Games fan. She doesn't care if people insult or make fun of her, but grows defensive when her work is met with less than satisfaction. However, she does not care if she is not getting credit for her work (she often says that the President has more important things to do than gossip about who she's wearing). She is loyal to the Capitol.
Appearance
Unlike many capitol citizens, Kalysta has not altered her skin at all. However, her hair is colored snow white, as are lots of her outfits (many are also hinted with gray-blues and blue-greens). She likes rich-colored lipstick to counteract all the white and her eye makeup is typically grey and golden. Kalysta also loves ornate headpieces.
Trivia
- She makes sure that the family's old shop stays open and often still designs clothing there.
